Your Quest for a Spiritual Life
By Michelle Corrigon

Your Quest for a Spiritual Life is an easy to read version of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras.  It is aimed at those on their spiritual journeys who are seeking and need guidance.  These words will inspire you to have the discipline needed to keep walking your spiritual path.  Many questions will be answered and help is given to keep you focused.

The obstacles to your path will be explained;  the afflictions in life, and how to overcome them.

The book explains how important it is to do energy work;  some form of physical movement, breathing techniques - to shift energy and meditation - to calm the mind.  Self-study is equally important in order for you to heal your wounds.

This book will also help those who practice Yoga whatever your level.

REVIEWS:

Written for both practising Yogis and for non-Yoga practitioners alike, this is the ancient philosophy re-imagined for modern living.  With plenty of inspiration and food for thought, each chapter and verse is a meditation on right living and action.  An indispensable guide.
Tania Ahsan, Editor, Kindred Spirit

This is a heart-warming, personal interpretation of the Yoga Sutras, which have obviously spoken deeply to this spiritual aspirant, the writer, who has obviously spent much time studying them.
Satchidananda Ma

'The Yoga Sutras are one of the most profound spiritual texts in history, and Michelle Corrigan has done a great job of reframing them in a modern context, making them accessible to a new audience.'
Steve Taylor, author of The Fall, and Waking From Sleep.

REVIEWS:

This book is a lovely pot pourri of spiritual awakening and healing methods, mainly from the older cultures who were so much more in touch than we of the present day. She relates it to the coming changes slated for 2011 and 2012 in a way that is both salutary and which usefully prods us in healthy directions.

She speaks of many methods of meditation, healing, connecting with earth and sky, the opening of our chakras to tune to the cosmos and receive information and the reader is guided to many possibilities of personal development which will help survive and thrive in the coming times.

I particularly was drawn to the wisdom of Patanjali and his cryptic sutras, full of wisdom but which take some work to elucidate. All in all, a deceptively simple and short book but full of helpful stuff written in a very direct and accessible way.

Something to bear in mind
By Michelle Corrigon

A heart warming Pot Pourri of Yoga, Buddhism, Shamanism and Spiritual Philosophy giving the reader a Thought of the Day, which may be just that , a thought, or an invitation to practice a meditation, connect with nature or a practical ceremony.  The Reader will be guided to visit their inner world, connecting with their emotions as well as nature as the seasons change and also linking with their Higher Self.  This will help the Reader to be more rounded, more balanced understanding ones Self.

These techniques will help the Reader to live in the present, remove toxins and blocked energy from the body as they become more centred which will strengthen their life force making them feel more whole in mind, body and spirit.  To live in peace and harmony is to live in beauty.

REVIEWS:

Hectic lifestyles and insane family schedules mean that spiritual health and progress often get pushed onto the back-burner. People say they haven't got time, which is tragic really, when you consider that spiritual well-being triggers well-being in all the bodies and would make life so much more enjoyable for them generally.
So, I welcome this new book from the effervescent Michelle Corrigan, as a simple and intricately guided way for people to 'snapshot' spiritual well-being into their lives, with the least possible effort. For those who reject any kind of stiff regime this book drips pure gold into the soulstream on a daily basis
Jenny Smedley, best selling author

A lovely gentle compilation of spiritual wisdom in the form of daily reminders which move the reader to live more deeply. It encourages us to appreciate life's changes and to dare to be more present to what is really happening. Here are a couple of my favourite quotes:
'If you are a dualist then you believe there is an external God. If a non-dualist then you know God is within you.'
And most important of all – 'Happiness resides not in possessions... but dwells in the soul'
